Consultation has concluded

We have updated our Air Quality Action Plan, which outlines actions we intend to deliver between 2023 and 2028 to reduce air pollution and exposure to air pollution.

The main causes of poor air quality within Air Quality Management Areas (AQMAs) are emissions from road traffic. Our new plan seeks to improve air quality across the entire District and also focus on measures within the AQMAs where air quality has failed to meet National Air Quality Objective levels.

How can you get involved?
