Maidstone Borough Council are trying to improve our services and the way these are available to residents. We are running focus groups to hear your thoughts on this. The focus groups are open to anyone to attend if they have recently contacted the council. We are looking to understand your experience when contacting the council whether this was positive or negative and your needs around the methods in which you can contact the council.
During the groups we will discuss what you feel is excellent customer service - looking for examples you have experienced of this. Experiences you have had when contacting the council and how this has impacted you. What methods of contact you would like from the council and if this is impacted by which service you need.
The focus group sessions are available to anyone living in Maidstone Borough aged 18 years or over.
The sessions are being held on:
Tuesday 25th February 10:30-11:30 (in person - Town Hall)
Tuesday 25th February 6-7pm (virtual via teams)
Wednesday 26th February 1:30-2:30 (in person - meeting room above Starbucks, King Street, Maidstone Town Centre)
Light refreshments will be provided at the in-person sessions.
How do I register my interest?
If you are interested in participating, please register via the link below by 19 February 2025. In this form we will ask you about your age, your postcode, gender, ethnicity, economic activity, when you last contacted the Council and which sessions you are able to attend.
We want to ensure that those selected for the focus groups are a representative mix of members that reflect the wider diversity of the borough. If we get oversubscribed and you are not selected to join a focus group at this time, we would welcome your involvement in future engagement..
We will let you know by 21 February 2025 if you have been allocated a place and send further details of the focus groups.
