Principle of development

Maidstone has a need for an additional 1,157 homes per year to be developed according to the 2021 Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA) update.  The previously developed, and now vacant, former Springfield Library site provides a key opportunity to transform an unused piece of land into a thriving part of the local community and provide much needed new homes for the Borough.

Do you support the principle of regenerating this disused site to help Maidstone Council deliver homes in the borough?
