Pride in Place is a long-term UK Government programme that puts local people in charge of improving their neighbourhoods.

The Park Wood and Senacre area has been chosen for Pride in Place funding. The area will get £20 million over ten years to improve things that matter to people who live and work there.

Local people will decide how this money is spent across Park Wood and Mangravet, Senacre, Shepway, and parts of Loose and Linton. This might include investing in community facilities and green spaces, youth provision, projects supporting wellbeing, employment and skills, arts, culture and heritage or backing other community-led initiatives that make the area an even better place to live.
