Community Safety in Maidstone is not the sole responsibility of any particular agency but is instead delivered through the combined efforts of a wider partnership through a Community Safety Partnership Plan. By participating in this survey, you contribute to our next Community Safety Partnership Plan.
Our 2022-25 Community Safety Partnership Plan, built on local quantitative and qualitative information, focuses on four core priorities:
- Protecting our communities against serious, violent, and organised crime (including modern-day slavery) through strong prevention and enforcement measures.
- Keeping children and young people safe - because relationships change lives, not resources.
- Reducing the harm caused by domestic abuse (including stalking) - because domestic abuse is everyone’s business.
- Providing a safe town centre - a space where everyone can feel safe.
