Gave up job in Aylesford

I landed a job working for the Apogee Corporation based in Aylesford and when Brock wasn't on, I could get to the office from where I live Bridgefield Ashford in under an hour, without issue. Unfortunately Brock was constantly put up and taken down. When it was up. It only took one vehicle to have an issue and I was stuck. The amount of times I was stuck I lost count. I tried many times taken the longer scenic route through Charing and Lenham but again if there was a problem along the M20 then the scenic route would grind to a halt. I had a 20 something boss at the time (another modern oddity, well their cheap aren't they I guess) who had no time or understanding of my issue. My whole world became consumed by the worry of what was going on today on the M20 and the issues I would then experience at work. Many just told me to leave earlier but again this isn't a solution when there is a multi car hold up. I think my record was about 3.5 hours travelling from Ashford to Aylesford. I gave up the role in the end and wouldn't currently work a job in Maidstone or Dover. It's been going on for years without a real solution. Very isolating.
