Heath emgergency

I live in Hollingbourne near junction 8 of the motorway, when there is an accident on the motorway from junction 8 to 9 all the traffic has to go on the A20 single lane each way road, due to this we cannot get out of Hollingbourne, after a covid vaccine I had a problem with my heart very fast heart beat, needed to get to my doctors in Lenham, when I tried to drive there the road was at standstill both ways, it was a Friday I had to get to the doctors to get medication, as it was 5.15 I knew I would never get there before the dispensary closed……luckily I took an extra channel blocker and my heart rate came down to normal, I had to ring 111 on Saturday to get more medication from Morrisons which is quite a long way from here!!

Another big problem is all the massive lorries taking short cut in this very old village, much to narrow for lorries speeding and damaging the roads and footpaths, there is going to be a very bad accident one day, LORRIES should not come through these old villages as the roads were not built to withstand their weight, that’s why the roads have to be completely shut for repairs making people completely stranded, no shop for three miles and due to road closed the local bus does not run from Hollingbourne to langley through Leeds village as the roads are closed nearly every week.
