So which clever person is going to own up to signing off shutting the a249/m2 junction for 3 months whilst the other alternative thoroughfare, is subject to tap, stack and brock?? Doesn't take a genius to work out that's not going to work. Grateful for the hard shoulder now? Brock is not a solution. It is an expensive, ill considered, ridiculous, chaotic concrete mess. If you drive down it, there are more cars than there are lorrys most days! In the meantime, there are roadworks on nearly every main road, in the run up to brock! The most harrowing experience, was seeing blue lights spark up in front of me, and watching an ambulance trying to get through two lanes of 50mph traffic, where no one has room to move over. Someone needs to take accountability for this absolute sh*t show and needs to consider a career change in the process because they clearly are not very bright. That said, nothing will change. It never does. I vote we borrow a digger and plough the bloo*y thing down ourselves.
