I travel to see my family from the other side of Maidstone down to Ashford, when covid struck that was the only time I travelled to see my family without to much of an issue because the roads were empty, since then it has been an absolute nightmare travelling from place to place, the 50mph speed limit adds so much time to the journey and if there is an accident the delay times are horrendous because the emergency services cannot get there quickly because the two lanes are either blocked or congested, but if you're lucky enough not to be caught in the massive delay which then ensues you can use the A20 that road isn't suited to such heavy traffic the delays are just as long or longer because it's a single lane. The only thing the M20 has successfully been used for is a the promised lorry park its an absolute shambles and needs sorting out urgently , this really is one of the worst ideas created to "help" ease traffic congestion, it seems more like a money making scheme by catching people out who speed..
