Road congestion

As a user of the A20 from Junction 8 to Junction 9 M2O, It is nigh on impossible to use the A20 to ashford due to vast amounts of diverted traffic. Add to that the council sees fit to implement road works at Operation Brock at its highest volume. Cannot some form of communication between relevant groups so that this can be delayed. I note that Charing is disrupted for the installation of Traffic lights. While I agree this is vital for road safety, surely this could be done during off peak summer holiday time? I note suggestions that 'lorry parks' be created. These indeed would be good, but we have to consider the 'NIMBY's', who have a thoroughly good reason not to have one right next to their property. The local parking is totally inadequate for truck driver needs. You will always have the group of individuals who can't use the toilet facilities correctly, add to that the mindless few who think its a 'laugh' to damage them. I feel that the task is a never ending problem for the council, that can only be funded by the Government, who have the power to put through relevant planning. Not forgetting the endless reports that will be generated by all concerned parties. The council, whenever possible to sort this will be long gone and new councillors will take their places with different agendas and this will be pushed to the 'back burner' for years to come. As for rejoining the EU, no chance for me I'm afraid I am one of the silent majority who dared to vote for leaving the EU. However I did want this mindless immigration to stop, but thats another story.
