Unsustainable

Commuting through operation Brock has meant I have had to get up significantly earlier (I now have to leave the house at 5am rather than 7.30) so that I can avoid the traffic it causes especially with the number of breakdowns or accidents, or just poor traffic management whereby all traffic comes to a standstill. I have never seen so much disruption to the running of the motorways, and with no leeway and no hard shoulder for miles and miles it is very dangerous. People try to avoid this using other means such as the a20 which now gets very congested, and country lanes, which is also dangerous when these road users are not used to these roads and are just using them as a "short cut" for their commute, resulting in a lack of respect for the correct passing places to ensure smooth flow of traffic, or attention to the numerous hazards that can appear such as farm traffic, horses, bikes and dog walkers etc.
