Maidstone’s Eco Hub is a pop up information about sustainability related topics organised Maidstone Borough Council along with eco-conscious community groups and organisations from across our borough.
Maidstone’s Eco Hub 2024 was open in Unit 101 of the Mall, Maidstone between 26th October and 9th November 2024.
This was the third year of this event and we are keen to gather feedback both from people who visited and those who did not, to inform and improve this project for future years.
Every resident who completes the survey can enter into a prize draw to be in with a chance of winning a Plant Box indoor living wall, compete with houseplants. This is a modular unit with 5 tiers that can be slotted together or removed as required. The unit is free standing but also has attachments for wall mounting. This is a great low maintenance way to add some natural greenery into a small space (see Terms & Conditions).
We are also seeking your ideas for content for future Eco Hubs, this could be ideas for events or workshops, environmental topics you would more information on, or activities you want to take part in.
Ideas - Tell us your ideas about what can be done to improve the Eco Hub for future years - this could be stalls, activities, workshops, events or information that you would like see or take part in. You can submit your ideas below as well as browse and comment on ideas that others have submitted.
What Next?
The results of all the consultation activities will be used to help inform and improve this project for future years.
