M2 - Business closure

The block is having a marked contributing factor to my business to and from Dover /Maidstone. One business employed 18 part-time staff and it became to frustrating and un-viable to manage. We were finally refused furlough in Covid, which closed the business.

We could consider a second development company business at a second location in Dover. The M2 ques and reduced speed is a factor in valuating the logistics of a new business.

Removing the speed restrictions will be enough to free up the economy. The motorway is not designed for a lorry park and has no facilities. I would be happy to see this permanently removed.

I cannot understand why the massive lorry park near Ashford and/or the vast space at Manston are not being used to stack lorries. It is clearly ridiculous to cause chaos on major roads across Kent, when a bit of sensible foresight could have put solutions in place a long time ago.
I am also very frustrated by the way that traffic is managed at the end of the M2 at Brenley Corner. I understand that the Police do not want lorries jumping the queue, but there is no need for all traffic to be reduced to one lane at the roundabout for the Police to quiz lorry drivers. There are two lanes heading up to the roundabout - make one for lorries to be checked, and leave the other for all other traffic to continue unimpeded.
At the moment, it appears to be one huge mess! I feel that local residents are being treated with disdain.
