My wife is in a lovely care home just off exit ten of the M20. Normally it takes under 20 minutes to get there but Brock adds at least 10/15 minutes each way.
Plus the cost of petrol Since I need to go to exit 7 and double back to join the counterflow system. The counterflow system is often not in operation so I need to exit at junction 8 to go down the A20.
it is always disturbing and make my visit more difficult.

It's become a real problem, because we can't get on at junction 8 . The local roads become congested and the air quality is worrying. This is NOT the permanent solution.

On the 23rd July 2022 I was on my way to my friend's 90th birthday party in Ashford.I travelled through Bearsted on the A20 and saw that the M20 was shut due to Operation Brock.I therefore stayed on the A20 and was caught in the traffic jam at the Hollingbourne roundabout. I stayed in that position for an hour before deciding to return home.I travelled through Hollingbourne and went up the hill.Every turning to take me back to Maidstone was blocked and I ended up in Sittingbourne. This whole traffic system is a joke.
