We need a solution

We live in Hollingbourne, and the impact it has if you want to go out, into town etc, is terrible, the traffic blocks the roundabout by the Great Danes, even though it says keep clear, on several occasions we have nearly been hit, the volume of traffic coming through these villages is really bad, there has got to be a better solution to this.

We  live in Grove Green  and are constantly affected by Operation Brock
Our house backs onto Newcut road which is constantly at a stand still due to traffic leaving at junction 7 of the M20 and using Newcut Road as a route on to Ashford road on to A20 Not only do we endure the additional traffic but also increased noise and pollution. We have family who live in Ashford which should take us no more than 25 minutes however when Brock is in place the journey time is dramatically increased
And if there is a brake down or accident then the travel time can take hours.
There has to be a better solution to the problem rather than keep closing or restricting
The M20 let alone the addition  cost of implementation  and effect on the environment
Why not use Manston airport which can absorb approx 3000 lorries and carry out cross Chanel paperwork whilst the vehicles are parked.
