Queues of traffic

Congestion in Maidstone is a general problem and for me using the A20 towards willington street it is particularly bad on a day to day basis. Add the fact the a huge section of motorway from J8 to J9 is regularly shut adds more traffic to already congested roads.

Brock is a Bummer

Although retired and I can chose when and what times I travel, when Operation Brock is in place, I avoid using the M20 and other nearby A roads like the plague! This means I do not visit the towns and villages accessed by these roads with a consequent loss of business to them. Operation Brock must be causing a severe economic downturn to all the small businesses in those areas by people like me. Negative impact

I live in a village that connects to the A20. As soon as the M20 gets restrictions, I may as well forget about driving anywhere. My normal 15 to 20 minute drive is turned into a 40 to 90 minute drive due to the shear volume of traffic attempting to dodge the restrictions. My birthday party was also ruined this year as people were stuck in traffic for up to 3 hours trying to attend and then gave up and went home.
